PLANTECO is a SBA 8(a), HUBZone Small Disadvantaged Business founded in December 2000 by a group of experienced professionals in the environmental consulting industry. Headquartered in Athens, Georgia, PLANTECO is a recognized leader in providing cost-effective green solutions and sustainable technologies, consulting, feasibility studies, turnkey innovative remediation, and engineered green remediation product applications. The life cycle focus of the innovative technologies that PLANTECO applies during hazardous waste site cleanup contributes to the sustainability of our planet.

 

PLANTECO has a successful record of introducing innovative technologies in support Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) projects. Our technologies can be applied at every phase of restoration using sustainable and innovative green solutions. Funding for our research and development act ivies has been received from the USEPA, US Navy, USACE< USAF and private industry. We have introduced technologies to remediate soils and groundwater contaminated with recalcitrant petrochemicals, chlorinated solvents, metals, and emerging contaminants such as perchlorate, NDMA, 1,4-dioxane, munitions and explosive components (MECs). Developing green technologies is our charter.

Members of the team PLANTECO has assembled have many years of experience in performing site evaluations, feasibility studies and remediation design and implementation at many field sites throughout the United States and internationally.
