Company History PLANTECO Environmental Consulting, LLC takes an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to environmental engineering challenges - from permitting and regulatory compliance to site investigation and remedial design, all the way through to engineering, construction, cleanup, and operation and maintenance. We provide clients with full-service engineering capabilities for environmental site assessments, management and remediation. These capabilities include waste management strategies, site remediation, remedial system design and installation, and negotiations with regulatory agencies. PLANTECO ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, LLC, was founded in 2000 and is an 8(a), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), as registered in the CCR. PLANTECO is an innovative technology leader. We provide sustainable technology consulting, feasibility studies, basic research, applied research, proof-of-concept, pilot testing, and full-scale deployment of turnkey innovative remediation, and engineered green remediation product applications.
PLANTECO provides services for remediation of soil, surface and groundwater, sediments, and air. We have developed and demonstrated multiple cost-effective, sustainable, and innovative green remediation technology applications for the cleanup of organic and inorganic contaminants. The success of our comprehensive lab-to-field approach for phytoremediation, in situ bioremediation, and subsurface redox manipulation technologies has been clearly demonstrated in a wide range of government and industry projects, as detailed on PLANTECO’s web site (www.PLANTECO.com).
PLANTECO is working on the cleanup of recalcitrant petrochemicals (including oil spills), petroleum hydro-carbons related to underground storage tanks, chlorinated solvents, metals and emerging contaminants of concern such as perchlorate, NDMA, 1,4-dioxane, munitions and explosives components (MECs), munitions constituents of environmental concern, and wastewater at sites in the Unites States and internationally. We are also assisting military bases in the maintenance and operation of their Land Application Systems (LAS) for treatment of wastewater. Members of PLANTECO’s team have many years of experience in performing site evaluations, feasibility studies, long-term monitoring, and remediation design and implementation at many federal and state field sites throughout the United States.
Our successful approach to these projects is focused on meeting the client's requirements and is underpinned by our strategic approach to address the site issues, public health, regulatory agency concerns and cost impacts. We have repeatedly demonstrated our ability to negotiate effectively, prepare and execute focused work plans, and apply unbiased technologies and approaches.
