MuniRem® Accelerated Remediation

RAPID CHEMICAL DEGRADATION of MUNITIONS CONSTITUENTS
PLANTECO has developed and patented MuniRem®, a rapid in-situ or ex-situ chemical treatment process to completely degrade munitions compounds in soils and groundwater.  It has been tested on TNT, HMX, RDX, picric acid and their metabolites.  MuniRem® will also degrade other organic and inorganic contaminants and will precipitate metals as insoluble residue.  The very short cleanup time and closeout associated with this technology eliminates the O&M costs associated with other remediation technologies.

SAMNAS®

Surface Application and Mobilization of Nutrient Amendments (SAMNAS®) Simultaneous in-situ bioremediation of perchlorate, explosives and other organic contaminants in vadose zone source areas (soils and sediment) and groundwater.

Microbial Mat Aquatic Systems (MMATS®)

MMATS® passively treats municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater, agricultural wastewater, landfill leachate, acid mine drainage, and rapid biosorption and degradation of organics and inorganic contaminants in wastewater.  Our technology traps greenhouse gases and allows for the rapid bio-conversion of carbon dioxide into carbohydrates and proteins for bio-energy production.

Petroleum Remediation Product (PRP®) 

Petroleum Remediation Product (PRP®) is a patented all natural product that instantly binds and promotes biodegradation utilizing “native” microbial populations.  PRP® lowers/minimizes volatilization; 100% natural and biodegradable and non-toxic.

CHEMOX®

Chemical Treatment of Petroleum Contaminated Soils using CHEMOX®    MECX and PLANTECO have partnered to apply In-Situ and Ex-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO and ESCO) of petroleum-contaminated soils. ESCO is used to remediate tight soils saturated with petroleum heavy ends, such as diesel and creosote. KLOXURTM activated persulfate is mixed in with the soils saturated with petroleum heavy ends, then water is added to initiate the chemical oxidation reactions.

Use of Microbial Mats to treat wastewater and harvest biomass produced during wastewater treatment for bioenergy production by fermentation, pyrolysis or other methods for bioenergy recovery from algae.
